POPIA Notice
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This notice explains how rAiGen Dev meets the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) when it provides Anchora.
Responsible party and Information Officer
rAiGen Dev is the responsible party for account, contact and usage information. For catalogue data, rAiGen Dev acts as an operator on behalf of your organisation. Contact our Information Officer at hello@raigendev.com.
The eight conditions
- Accountability: we assign responsibility for compliance and keep audit records.
- Processing limitation: we collect only what Anchora needs, lawfully.
- Purpose specification: information is used for the purposes set out in our Privacy Policy.
- Further processing limitation: we don't use it for unrelated purposes.
- Information quality: you can update your details at any time.
- Openness: this notice and our Privacy Policy explain what we do.
- Security safeguards: encryption, two-factor sign-in, role-based access and separation between organisations.
- Data subject participation: you may request access, correction or deletion.
Your rights
You may ask whether we hold your personal information, request a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to processing. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforeg.org.za.
Cross-border transfers
Where providers process information outside South Africa, we make sure the protection is substantially similar to POPIA, as section 72 requires.
Security compromises
If personal information is compromised, we will notify the Information Regulator and affected people as soon as reasonably possible.
