Privacy Policy

This policy explains how rAiGen Dev ("we", "us"), the creator and operator of Anchora (anchora.co.za), handles personal information. Anchora is currently in beta.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and two-factor settings.
• Organisation details: organisation name, currency, timezone and team roles.
• Catalogue data: product information you import or create. This is your business data, and we process it on your behalf.
• Store connection details: your store address and API keys, kept in an encrypted vault.
• Usage and security data: audit records, sign-in events, error logs and basic technical information such as browser type.
• Contact form messages: your name, email, company and message.

2. How we use it

We use this information to provide and secure Anchora, keep your catalogue in sync with your store, support you, improve the product during the beta, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We don't use it for advertising.

3. Legal basis

We process information to perform our agreement with you, for our legitimate interests in running a secure service, to comply with the law, and with your consent where it is required.

4. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that host, store and deliver Anchora, such as cloud hosting, database and email providers, under appropriate agreements. We also share it with your connected online store when you choose to sync, and with authorities when the law requires it.

5. Storage, security and transfers

Data is protected by encryption in transit, encrypted secrets, separation between organisations, role-based access, two-factor sign-in and audit logging. Some providers may process data outside South Africa. When they do, we rely on safeguards that meet POPIA section 72 and the GDPR.

6. Retention

We keep account and catalogue data while your organisation is active. Audit records are kept for security and accountability. When an account closes, we delete or anonymise data within a reasonable period unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. Your rights

You may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion or a copy, and you may object to or restrict processing. See our POPIA and GDPR pages for details.

8. Cookies

Anchora uses only the storage it needs to keep you signed in and secure. We use no advertising cookies.
